LG has launched their latest mid-range smartphone in the Q-series, the LG Q7, today, in India. The Q7 is the successor to the Q6, which was launched last year. The phone has a Full Vision display and a MediaTek SOC.

The LG Q7 sports a 5.5-inch Full HAD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The screen has an 18:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 424 PPI. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek MT6750s chipset with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, with an option for expandable storage up to 2 TB using a micro SD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with LG’s custom UI on top.
For the cameras, the LG Q7 uses a single 13 MP rear-facing camera which has Phase detection AutoFocus. There’s also an LED flash on the back. To the front, the phone comes with an 8 MP selfie camera.
The battery on the LG Q7 is a 3000 mAh unit, which supports fast charging. For connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and GLONASS.
The LG Q7 is IP68 Water and Dust Resistance Certified and is MIL-STD 810G compliant. For the ports, the Q7 comes with a USB Type C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone also has Hi-Fi audio, DTS:X 3D Surround sound support. The phone weighs 145 GM’s and is 8.4 mm thick.
Pricing and Availability of LG Q7
The LG Q7 comes in two color options – Aurora Black & Morrocan Blue. The phone is priced at INR 15,990 and will be available in India, starting September 1, 2018.
