LG has officially introduced their most anticipated flagship; the LG G6 at the MWC 2017 event. Unlike the G5, the LG G6 comes with a non-modular full metal body design. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC and sports a large 5.7-inches Quad HD+ full Vision bezel-less design. The LG G6 is the first flagship to launch at the MWC 2017.

The LG G6 sports a 5.7-inches (1440×2880) Quad HD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and the display come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to prevent from scratches and sudden drops. There’s Dolby Vision as well. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. LG has to let go off the Snapdragon 835 chipset, as Samsung is taking control of the mass production of it. The LG G6 packs a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage (microSD card). It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with LG’s custom skin overlaid on top.
Moving on the camera; the one department where LG shines every year, the LG G6 packs a dual rear camera setup with LED flash, OIS, HDR, panorama and it can record UHD 4K videos. The device rocks a Fingerprint sensor for extra security, quad DAC for better audio experience, water-resistance. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Hybrid Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. A 2,800mAh non-removable battery is expected to power the device internally.

The phone will hit the Korean market first on March 10. The price starts at 899,800 won (US$796.85). For the other markets, we still need to wait to find out the availability details.
