Lemon Mobiles plans to set up a manufacturing unit as well as a R&D and testing center in the coming years.The company has announced that it will setup a new mobile phones and LED TVs manufacturing unit at Sector 80, Noida. The facility which is planned to be built can produce upto 1 Million mobile handsets per month and 60K LED TVs per month.
The facility will be spread over 1.30 lacs sq/ft area and would need an estimated investment of Rs 150 cr to build. After the plant comes into operations in 2020, the company aims to hit Rs 1000 Cr top line in next 3 years.

Additionally, the company also plans on setting up an R&D and Testing Lab facility in Shenzhen, China to design the next-generation mobile handsets. For the proposed R&D and testing centre in China, Lemon plans on hiring over 100 engineers, to help the brand innovate their products that are aimed towards Indian consumers.

It is currently offering feature phones, smart phones and LED TVs at a budget friendly price. Lemon Mobiles, plans on launching 6-7 new smartphones in the 6K – 8K price category, in the coming months.
