Reliance had announced the Jio Prime membership not long ago while mentioning that the network has already garnered 100 million subscribers in a span of 170 days. While the Chairman and MD of the company, Mr. Mukesh Ambani mentioned that you can continue getting the same Happy New Year offer benefits by paying Rs. 303 per month, that is not the only plan to be available under the Prime offer.
It is important to note that to subscribe yourself to the Prime membership, you will have to do Rs. 99 recharge between March 1st and 31st for your Jio number and then later you will be paying Rs. 303 every month to continue the unlimited usage and data limited to 1GB per day.
Let’s check out what are the plans available under the Jio Prime offer.
Rs. 303 Jio Prime Plan
While you are getting all the app subscriptions, the Rs. 303 plan is more about the data that you are getting in it.
For Jio Prime members, this plan will give a total of 28GB data and that will have a data cap of 1GB per day. Calling is free for always, as promised by Jio (updated, as earlier we mentioned that it would be a cap of 1000 minutes).
In comparison to this, the non Jio Prime users will be able to get a total of only 2.5GB data during the month on the same Rs. 303 plan.
Rs. 499 Jio Prime Plan
This is logically a much better plan because of the amount of data that you are getting as a Jio Prime member. You will be getting a total of 56GB of data per month and the data limit is about 2GB per day.
The non Jio Prime users will be getting only 5GB of data for the entire month by paying Rs. 499 per month.
Now, you know what you are going to get and if you are happy enough with the speeds you are getting with Jio in your locality, you should jump right in to enrol your number for the Jio Prime membership. There’s a one-time charge of Rs. 99 that will make your number registered for Jio Prime for one year, from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
You just need to go to MyJio app if you want to enrol to the Jio Prime membership and that is where you can pay for the Rs. 99 recharge and subscribe. Till March 31st, you will still be on the Jio Happy New Year offer that gives you a data cap of 1GB per day, and unlimited voice, SMS, and app subscription is there.
