We have been seeing news about the testing going on for Instagram’s latest feature to support multiple accounts on your Instagram App. It was in testing phase for quite few months and it is being officially rolled out for both iOS and Android users. With this new feature users can link up to five accounts in their app.
The version in which the new update will be rolling out is version 7.15 for both Android and iOS. The app also supports push notifications for all linked accounts, which have to turned on. There is also an option included to let users log out of selected accounts or from all the accounts at once using a single action which is quite helpful.
To add additional accounts to your Instagram App you have go to profile settings and add each account by entering the username and password. to switch between accounts you have to go to profile settings to do so. The app is said to have changes from account to account in the color etc to help differentiate between accounts.
This feature will be useful for many users who are into business, sports, movie, bloggers etc and want to use a minimum of two accounts one being their professional one and the other personal. Do make sure that you update your App to get this feature, similar to all updates these features might start rolling out in phases to users across the world. So do not worry if you are not getting this feature even after updating your App to version 7.15.
