Huawei’s next flagship in the P series is around the corner. MWC 2017 is where the Huawei P10 will get announced and as usual, we already have the press render with a proper detail of the exterior shown by the tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks). Earlier too, most of the Huawei P10 specs were leaked.
The leaks claimed that the Huawei P10 will have a 5.5-inch display and even if we cannot confirm that through the press renders, let us see what is different here when we compare the P10 with the P9, which was quite a successful phone for Huawei.
Taking a look at the renders, we can see that the Huawei P10 might not see an upgrade in the camera department as the Leica one with the Summarit branding that we already see on the back of the P9. The placement isn’t really different, though, even if Huawei has worked a bit around with the antenna bands and the placement is almost similar to the likes of the latest iPhone and the Vivo V5 Plus.
The chamfered edges are gone from both, the front and the back. It was a flatter body with the chamfered edges on the P9, while the P10 now will have a rather curvy one with the back although being flat, will have a curve on the sides when joining the side frame.
The fingerprint sensor is another noticeable difference when it comes to the position of it. The fingerprint sensor was located on the back of the Huawei P9 and that seemed like a decent position to not just place the finger to unlock the phone but also for the swiping for special functions. Now, the Huawei P10 seems to have the sensor on the front, in the place of home button.
Not really sure if there were seriously any big changes needed from what the P9 had, but Huawei has quite a few of them and we will know how good they are, once we get to have our hands to check it out.
