Honor has launched its latest entry level smartphone, Honor Play 7, in China. The new smartphone comes with 18:9 display and Mediatek chipset.
Honor Play 7 features a 5.45 inch display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and it is covered under 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by Quad-core Mediatek 6739 chipset and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, with an option to expand the storage up to 256 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on top.
The Play 7 has a single 13 MP rear camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus technology. There’s an LED flash on the back. To the front, there’s a 8 MP front facing camera along with an LED flash.
The phone packs in a 3020 mAh battery underneath the metal casing.For connectivity the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS. The phone has a microUSB port and 3.5 mm headphone jack along with FM radio support.
Pricing and Availability of Honor Play 7
The Honor Play 7 comes in three colors – Blue, Gold and Black. The phone is priced at CNY 599 (USD 94/ INR 6380) and is now up for pre-orders, while the sale begins on May 22, in China.
