After announcing it at the CES 2015 event in Las Vegas, Lenovo has finally launched the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro Ultrabook in India, for a hefty price tag of Rs. 114990. Featuring a hinge design that can rotate the screen by 360 degree, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. This could easily be one of the slimmest laptops, and it indeed is touted as World’s slimmest convertible device.
The internal specs of the Yoga 3 Pro ultrabook include Intel Core M-5Y70 processor with Intel HD Graphics 5300. On the display side, there is a 13.3 inch QHD+ display with resolution 3200 x 1800 along with protection by Corning Gorilla Glass screen. The device is said to be running Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. There is 8 GB of DDR3L 1600 MHz RAM and SSD’s up to 512 GB.
The 44 Whr Li-Polymer battery packed in to the Yoga 3 Pro is said to provide about 7.2 hours of battery life, and on multimedia side, it has integrated JBL stereo speakers with waves audio certification.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are the connectivity options given in the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, and it is 12.8mm thick and weighs about 1.19kg. Being 17% thinner and 14% lighter than Yoga 2 Pro, this seems better in looks.
