Asus has announced their new flagship notebook, the ROG GL552JX in India. The top end Laptop by Asus comes with a Quad-core Intel core i7 processor with NVIDIA GTX 950M 4GB graphics. The design of the laptop also gives the feel of a top-end laptop fit for intense gaming as well. It has a Mobile Intel HM86 Express chipset and Intel HD Graphics 4600.
Commenting on the launch, Peter Chang, Managing Director, Asus India, said, “It is a mainstream gaming laptop targeting audience who desire great gaming experience without spending too much” . He added that in future we can see gaming netbooks which will be sporting 4K UHD displays and will be having up to an impressive 64GB of RAM.
Coming back the ROG GL552JX, it sports a 15.6-inch LED back lit FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It runs on 64-bit Windows 10 OS and comes with 1 month trial for New Microsoft Office 365. It comes with two user replaceable memory slots with dedicated memory door at the bottom of the notebook. It comes with storage space of 1TB 7200 rpm 2.5-inch HDD.

The Notebook supports SD, MMC and MS type cards it comes with WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 wireless connections as well. The Keyboard is great to look at and elegant and responsive with illuminated keyboard. To give smooth gaming experience without any lag it is equipped with GameFirst III Technology which prioritises the flow of game data across networks.
The Asus ROG GL552JX comes with Sonic Master audio and it powered by a 4-cell Li-Ion battery and weighs on the heavier side of 2.6Kgs. The laptop is priced at Rs. 80,990 and comes under the mainstream gaming laptop category.
