Asus India has unveiled a new gaming laptop, the ROG GL552 laptop with power packed internal hardware that is capable of delivering extremely good performance for gamers. Not just with the processor, but for the complete entertainment while gaming, there are inclusions from SonicMaster and AudioWizard.
SonicMaster in the Asus ROG GL552 helps in giving some crystal clear sound for gamers, while AudioWizard five presets tailor-made for popular game genres to engage gamers. The laptop has a 15.6-inch Backlit LED display with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels at 16:9 ratio), and 48WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion Battery Pack is what gives it the power.
The ROG GL552 has a quad-core 4th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 graphics, along with 8GB DDR3 RAM (DRAM DDR3 4G *2 + DRAM DDR3 4G *2). The dedicated memory door on the bottom of the laptop allows for memory extension to double its original capacity. To keep the lags away, Asus has incorporated the GameFirst III technology for prioritizing flow of game data across networks.

The keyboard is ROG Red backlit, and has a Mayan detailing along with easy-touch and low profile keys for a good response on 1.8mm travel distance of keys. The WASD keys are marked for the gamers, and there is a dedicated numeric pad for fast and full control. An HD web camera is included, and the laptop runs Windows 8.1 OS.
The laptop has a 1TB 7200 rpm 2.5’ HDD of hard drive storage, and there is a 8.9″mm 8X Super Multi with Double Layer SATA drive. As for the slots given, there is a 1x Headphone-out & Audio-in Combo Jack, 1x RJ45 LAN Jack for LAN insert, 1x VGA Port (D-Sub), 1 HDMI along with three USB 3.0 ports.
ASUS ROG GL552 will be available for Rs. 70,999; at all leading ecommerce websites Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and ASUS Exclusive Stores and other convention channels from 22nd June’ 15 onwards. It will come with a Gaming Carry bag & Headset and a Gaming mouse.
