The Taiwanese company, Asus has released their latest entry-level gaming laptop called the R510. The gaming laptop comes with decent hardware to take on the challenges of gaming and powerful internals to give you seamless gaming experience. The design kept minimal with a red and black patterns design given all over the laptop and Matte black with Diamond texture.
The Asus R510 comes with 64-bit Windows 10 OS pre-installed. It is powered by a 4th generation Intel core i7 4720HQ quad-core processor with NVIDIA GTX 950M GPU which is based on NVidia’s latest Maxwell architecture. It has 4GB + DRAM DDR3L 4G RAM which can be further expanded with the help of memory door given at the bottom of laptop. It comes with 1TB of SATA 5400RPM having 2.5′ HDD storage space. It comes with Intel HD graphics 4400 IGPU.
Commenting on the launch, Peter Chang, regional head of South Asus and managing director for Asus India, said, “Gaming is on the rise among the Indian consumers and with R510, even the entry level gaming enthusiasts will get an opportunity to test their skills on the high end games. It’s the perfect blend of hardware, performance and gaming with its black and red theme styled with FHD anti-glare display,”
The Asus R510 sports a 15.6-inch LED backlit Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels having aspect ratio of 16:9 and NTSC of 45%, the display comes with Antiglare protection. The NVIDIA GTX 950M comes with features like Nvidia’s Battery Boost technology, NVidia Optimus Technology, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience and GameStream to give the users best gaming experience out there. It sports a VGA web camera with fixed focus.
The Asus R510 has a Chiclet Keyboard with 348mm keyboard and 19mm full-size key pitch and integrated Numeric keypad, the company has included IceCool Technology which keeps the palm rests cool during those long hours of intensive gaming which can make you palms sweaty and hot. The laptop sports one USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports. It comes with SD only card reader along with 1x HDMI port 1x VGA port (D-Sub), 1x RJ45 LAN Jack for LAN insert and 1x Headphones-out and Audio-in Combo jack.
The laptop also features ASUS SonicMaster and AudioWizard powered by ICEpower Technology for enhanced audio experience. The R510 laptop is powered by a 4 cell Li-ion Battery Pack with 44WHrs and 4S1P to give the device decent battery life. Asus has been busy in the Laptop segment and has recently introduced their A series laptops in India. The Asus R510 entry-level gaming laptop has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 69,990 adding one more efficient gaming laptop to their impressive laptop series.
