The good news is that default loads most of the time the correct APN’s, and normally there’s no reason why you’ll have to fiddle with it, however in an unfortunate case where you have to end up modifying the APN here’s a guide on how it’s done. It’s pretty straightforward for most devices, and once the SIM card is injected into the instrument, the APN should automatically get downloaded. Also, the APN setting is mainly for the public internet access only, and it shouldn’t interfere with the calls and SMS in case you need it for an emergency.
