Xiaomi has launched a new 50 inch 4K TV called the Mi TV 4C, in China on April 2. The new 4k TV from Xiaomi comes with HDR support. The TV is priced at CNY 2199 and is available to purchase in China.
The Mi TV 4C comes with a 50 inch 3840×2160 resolution pixel dense 4K panel and has 178 degrees viewing angle. The TV has 9.5 ms dynamic response rate. The TV is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Amlogic processor with 750 MHz Mali-450 GPU. The TV has 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. The TV runs on Xiaomi’s own Patchwall UI based on Android which has AI features that deliver curated content to the users.
The Mi TV 4C has two 8-watt speakers and supports Dolby audio and DTS audio dual decoding. For the connectivity, the TV has 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, an Ethernet port, an AV port, 802.11 ac dual-band Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 4.2 LE.
The TV supports HDR 10, H.264, H.265, MPEG1/2/4, WMV3, VC1 and Real media format playback. The TV comes with Mi Remote Control which can be used for gestures and voice controls. Since the TV is built on Android, you should be able to sideload android apps from Google Play store.
As for the pricing, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4C 50-inch would cost you CNY 2199 ($ 349 / ₹ 22,720 approx.) and would go on sale in China from tomorrow, April 3rd. The availability of the TV in other markets is still unknown.
