LG Electronics is all set to unveil their new line of ‘Super UHD’ TVs at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas. The Super UHD TVs will now include a premium line of 4K ultra HD LCD/LED TV line up. The new line up of TVs will be sporting the most advanced LCD/LED picture quality along with expanded color capabilities, advanced picture and sound-enhancing features including high dynamic range (HDR) and LG’s alluring Flat ULTRA Slim design.
The new line up of Televisions will be launched under for series which are UH9500, UH8500 and UH7700 which come with advanced IPS display with innovations such as True Black Panel which minimizes reflections and enhances contrast ratio for a comfortable viewing without any reflections or glare and Contrast maximize which maintains the picture quality when seen at wide angles.
The UH9500 series has Super UHD televisions ranging from 55-85-inch class screen sizes, the UHD8500 has sizes ranging from 55-75-inch class screen sizes and the UHD7700 has screen sizes ranging from 49-65-inch class screen sizes. At the CES Event LG will be showcasing their first production-ready 98-inch 8K SUPER UHD TV named model UH9800.

The LG SUPER UHD series comes with LG’s ULTRA Luminance technology to boost peak brightness, improved black level performance and Color Prime technology to heighten HDR performance compared to sets that are only HDR compatible. The TV’s are capable of showing 4K HDR content and also includes SDR-to-HDR conversion engine which lets users enjoy near HDR content from any standard source. The Televisions come with LG’s Color Prime Plus technology which expands the palette of colors that can be displayed on the screen. It uses a combination of a new, thicker color filters as well as new LCD phosphorus to achieve approximately 90 percent of the Digital Cinema Initiative color space. With the Billion rich color variations the LG SUPER UHD models are capable of rendering over one billion possible color variations.
The design is also improved from the previous models, with a 6.6mm ultra-thin thickness which is achieved by reducing the gaps between the panel and back cover chassis. The bezels are also made to look near invisible which is said to give the appearance of TV floating in air. All these products will be displayed at LG’s booth (LVCC central Hall #8204) at CES 2016 from Jan 6th-9th in Las Vegas.
The other products to be launched at CES 2016 by LG are LG Signature Premium lineup along with LG webOS Smart TV 3.0. LG surely has some exciting stuff laid out for the CES 2016 event this year.
