LeTV, the Chinese electronics brand that had rebranded to LeEco, retains the previous name while finally announcing the launch of smart TVs in India. The company has so far launched five smartphones and a few accessories in India, and the launch of TVs was well awaited. With the success of smartphones by LeEco prising them aggressively we can expect a lot from the Smart TVs as well. The company has announced the launch of the super3 television series in India and not the latest Super4 series which was launched in China earlier in April this year.
LeEco has launched three televisions – Super3 X55, Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 in India with all three having 4K UHD resolution and Dolby Audio along with DTS. All three Televisions run on EUI 5.5 TV based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The cheaper of the three – Super3 X55 is powered by a 1.7GHz Mstar 6A928 quad-core 32-bit Cortex-A17 CPU with Mali-T760 MP4 GPU coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC 5.0 internal storage. It comes with connectivity features like WiFi 802.11ac, Dual-band MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0, 3 x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, SD Card slot, VGA input, Ethernet. The 5.5-inch 4K Panel display supports resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and supports videos up to 4K at 60fps. It comes with 20W sound output.
The Super3 X65 sports a 64.5-inch 4K panel with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution having 178-degree viewing angles, it is powered by a 1.7GHz Mstar 6A928 quad-core 32-bit Cortex-A17 CPU with Mali-T760 MP4 GPU coupled with 3GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB eMMC 5.0 internal storage space. The TV comes with connectivity features like WiFi 802.11ac, Dual-band MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0, 3 x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, SD Card slot, VGA input, Ethernet. It supports videos up to 4K at 60fps and has 20W Sound output.
The highest priced Super3 Max65 sports a 64.5-inch 4K 3D panel display with similar resolution and a similar 178 degree viewing angle. It is powered by a similar a 1.7GHz Mstar 6A928 quad-core 32-bit Cortex-A17 CPU with Mali-T760 MP4 GPU coupled with 3GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB eMMC 5.0 internal storage space. It has a2.1 channel 40W Stereo sound along with 4th gen Magic Sound system, Dolby Audio and DTS Premium Sound giving it an edge over the Super3 X65.
The LeEco Super X55 is priced at Rs. 59,790 while the bigger Super3 X65 is priced at Rs. 99,790 while the Super Max65 3D 4K Smart TV is priced at Rs. 1,49,790. All three televisions will be sold online exclusively on LeMall.com and Flipkart during preview sale dates between August 10-12. It is said to be sold in Flash sale and it comes with Rs. 5,000 instant discount with HDFC credit card.
