The watch manufacturer, Michael Kors has entered into the Android Wear smartwatch segment with their Michael Kors Access smartwatches line up launched at Baselworld 2016. The Android Wear run smartwatches are targeted at men and women, with the gold-plated watch for women which is studded with crystals while the men get a sporty black smartwatch. The watch faces sport the distinctive Michael Kors style and can be changed with a swipe as it runs on Android Wear.
Fossil has also launched Android Wear smartwatches- Q Marshall and Q Wander recently to make their mark in the ever expanding Android Wear run smartwatches segment. There are not many details revealed about the Access smartwatches but we can expect the regular features from Android Wear like smartphone sync, notifications update, alerts. fitness tracking, Google Now with Voice activated Google, various apps etc. Both will be compatible with Android and iOS.
Michael Kors has released two videos for each watch separately, the men’s watch has interchangeable bands with an option for chain link type bands as well along with silicone bands.
The Michael Kors Access smartwatches come with interchangeable straps and wristbands like leather and silicone ones to suit your style and dress if you need so. The Michael Kors Access smartwatches are priced at $395 USD and will be available at select speciality stores, across Michael Kors stores and on MichaelKors.com website in fall 2016.
