Alcatel and its OneTouch branding still have some confusion for the end users. Earlier, September 2015 to be specific, there was a OneTouch Watch launched by the company in India and it was priced at Rs. 7999. Interestingly, it had the same specs that a new watch named Alcatel Go Watch is being sold on Flipkart has under its name. But the design of Alcatel Go is quite different as it rocks a Sports watch design.
The dustproof and shockproof watch is having an IP67 certification for water resistance as well. There’s a 1.22-inch IPS display with 240 x 204 pixels screen resolution. With the compatible smartphones, the Alcatel Go Watch connects using its Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and the compatibility is with Android 4.3+ and iOS 7+.
The watch not just gets the push notifications from the smartphone (there is a vibration motor that gives a nudge for that), but can act like a remote control for your smart device’s music player or camera. Apart from the inclusion of a Heart rate sensor that checks for the heart rate whenever activated, the other sensors in the Alcatel Go Watch include Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, and eCompass.
The other features of the watch include Anti-lost Alarm, Smart Alarm, and Emotion Pulse. Going with the name “Go”, there are themes on the watch – You can then pick a theme that suits your mood the best, such as ‘Go Crazy’, ‘Go Chill’ and ‘Go Jam’, and share your mood on social media too.
The Alcatel Go Watch is available in White & Light Grey, and Black & Dark Red color options and the price is set at Rs. 6999. The watch is available only on Flipkart.
