Gibson Innovations has announced a big lineup of Bluetooth wireless headphones in different lineups, but the one that has to be put in focus is the ActionFit series for sports enthusiasts. This series adds two new wireless headphones, the Philips Actionfit RunFree, and Philips ActionFit WirelessFreedom.
These are not the only launches by Philips at the CES 2016, as the lineup of products includes Philips Fidelio soundbar, Philips Flite headphones, and Philips HX5 and HX1 headphones with LEDs, alongside some speakers. Read below about both the headphones that are aimed at sports users.
Philips Actionfit RunFree SHQ6500
It comes with an open acoustic design for better awareness and safety, and it has Anti-slip rubber ear caps to keep the headphone in with good comfort. Just like the other one, it is a Bluetooth headphone, and it allows the user to control calls and music while working out.
The RunFree headphones are made sweat proof with IPX2 standard, and they have Kevlar made reinforced cables to add durability. The color options in which they will be available, include Carbon and Lime.
Philips ActionFit WirelessFreedom SHQ7800
Similar to RunFree but having a smaller battery compartment, the WirelessFreedom headphones are made for comfort, and they offer three choices for fittings: earhook, fin and earbuds. The Kevlar reinforced cables are provided even for these, and these headphones have IPX4 rating sweat proofing.
These are available only in Black color, and the battery compartment size is what makes these a little higher on price than the RunFree headphones.
Price and Availability
Both the headphones, i.e. ActionFit RunFree and ActionFit WirelessFreedom are going to be available from March 2016 in North America, and the price is set at $69.99 and $79.99 respectively.
