Garmin has announced two wearable devices with the first being the Vivoactive HR GPS smartwatch and the other one is an activity tracker, the Vivofit 3 which the successor to the vivofit 2. The device comes with 50 meters of water resistance to be used in any conditions and situations, the company promises an impressive one-year of battery life.
Garmin vivofit 2comes with Move IQ which helps in identifying various activities like walking, biking, swimming, running and classifies the same on Garmin connect. The band sports a backlit display as well which shows certain information like time (in analog and digital), day, steps, calories, distance, intensity. To keep you active the band has move bar and audible alerts when it sense that the user has been inactive for a certain period of time.
It automatically syncs with Garmin Connect to save, plan and share progress. The company has a range of colorful interchangeable accessory bands which come from the Garmin Style Collection along with new styles from Jonathan Adler + Garmin line. The Garmin Style Collection’s Gabrielle bundle includes a small sized black quilted band and white waves band $119.99 which is approximately Rs. 8225.
The Garmin vivofit 3 is priced at $99.99 which is approximately Rs. 6800 and comes with a regular or extra large sized black band. For the tracker with a regular sized dark camo band is priced at $109.99 or approximately Rs. 7,500.
