Garmin India has announced their latest GPS Running Watch, the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music, in India, today. The new smartwatch has all the features of the original Garmin Forerunner 645 but also includes music playback functionality.
The Forerunner 645 Music features a 1.2-inch full-color circular Chroma display with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. It uses Transflective Memory in pixel for better sunlight visibility while consuming less power. It is protected under a strengthened glass for added durability.
The Forerunner 645 Music lets users track various activities such as heart rate, calories burnt, floors climbed, distance traveled, intensity minutes, TrueUp and Move IQ. It also comes with sleep monitoring and fitness level monitoring with VO2 max. It lets you track your stress levels and provide fitness age estimates.
The Forerunner 645 Music comes preloaded with gym activity profiles such as Strength Training, Cardio Training, Elliptical Training, Stair Stepping, Floor Climbing, Indoor Rowing, and Yoga.
As the name suggests, the Forerunner 645 Music comes with an option to stream music from your watch to Bluetooth headset. It can store up 500 songs in its memory.
Users need to purchase the Bluetooth headset separately to listen to music on the go, without any need to carry your mobile phones. Also, the Forerunner 645 Music comes with Garmin Pay service which lets users pay for purchases using their watch.

The Forerunner 645 Music has got you covered with all the required sensors such as the Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor, GPS/GLONASS, Compass, Barometric altimeter, Accelerometer and even a Thermometer. The watch is water resistant up to 5 ATM of pressure.
For connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth and is compatible with any device running on Android or iOS. Users can track or sync their training/activity data from the watch to their smartphones using the Garmin Connect IQ App. It also has ANT+ functionality that lets it connect with other monitoring devices.
Garmin claims that the band will last up to 7 days of use in smartwatch mode, while in the power-hungry GPS mode with Music, the GPS Running Watch band is said to last you only for a measly 5 hours.
Pricing and Availability of Garmin Forerunner 645 Music
The Garmin Forerunner 645 Music comes in Black and Cerise silicone straps with Stainless Steel accents on the watch. The pricing of the band starts at INR 39,990 and will be available to purchase from Amazon India, Garmin Estore, and Paytm Mall.
