Just like there have been details about the upcoming Nexus smartphones being leaked from time to time, the folks who are enthusiastic at the periodic check of the upcoming OS have got hold of the wallpapers, which are going to be a part of the pre-loaded wallpapers in the upcoming Nexus devices.
These are a handful of static wallpapers and there is a chance that this might not be the whole database but just a part of it, but getting hold of over a dozen of them is a good catch. According to Android Police, it is not just these but a bunch of new Live Wallpapers with varying functions and animations that Google is working on.
These leaked wallpapers are, as usual, very good at looks and Google has picked some beautiful ones that we might see round the year on several devices that have the stock ROM if they become a part of the Android Nougat OS.
How much do we know about the actual Nexus phones? Not much to be honest, but we expect them to be well powered just like the predecessor Nexus devices that were introduced last year. The codenames that the phones have got is Sailfish and Marlin. For now, download the high-resolution wallpapers that are put up on Postimg. There are changes expected (and even leaked from a working ROM) to the Nexus launcher, which might soon bid a farewell to the app drawer.
