Panasonic India has launched their new range of “Air Purifying” Inverter Air Conditioners, on March 14, in Hyderabad. These air conditioners come equipped with their patented air purification system called “Nanoe Technology”. The company emphasizes on pro consumer’s health objective with their new range of Air conditioners ensuring “Quality Air for Life” on its 60th Anniversary of Air Conditioner category.
The new range of AC’s come with Aerowings that provide more control over the direction of the airflow and allows to spread the cool and purified air over a large area, evenly. The AC’s purification system “Nanoe Technology” uses Nano-sized electrostatic atomized water particle which gathers the invisible water vapour by applying high voltage. According to Panasonic, these particles can inhibit the growth of bacteria, deodorize and virus and removes the dust and 99% of PM2.5 particles from the air even while the AC’s cooling function is turned off. It has a 3 stage purification system which ensures pure and healthy air.
The Aerowings feature incorporates two independant blades that concentrate the airflow to cool the room down in the shortest duration possible. It features an indoor design with a wider intake grille and a super-high speed fan to produce bigger air volume.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Gaurav Sah, Business Head, Air Conditioners Group, Panasonic India said, “With passion and perseverance, Panasonic has been using advanced technologies to improve air quality for 60 years. With the deteriorating environmental conditions across India, there is a growing need for air quality solutions. Panasonic is committed to improve the quality of air in Indian homes and provide enhanced cooling solutions with our proven Nanoe™ Technology & Aerowing design. With this range Panasonic plans Rs. 1500 crores business during the summer season, targeting 17% growth in FY18-19 over last year.”
With this launch Panasonic will also be showcasing the elite inverter range ‘AERO SERIES’ which comes with Aeroslim design, iAuto X feature for faster cooling and ECONAVI Sensors which reduces energy wastage upto 65%.
The air conditioners come in 0.8T, 1.0T, 1.5T, 2.0T tonnage variants. The prices of the Air Purifying Invertor Air Conditioners start from Rs. 39,000 to Rs. 72,000 and are available at all leading retail outlets.
