Based on specifications, the YU Yutopia is the better on paper and based on initial impressions we felt that the photos were quite good as well. The OIS in OnePlus 2 takes good photos of objects in movement compared to the YU Yutopia, we will be updating after a complete review of the YU Yutopia is completed. Overall the Rear and front cameras of the Yutopia win over the OnePlus 2.
Operating System:
The OnePlus 2 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop based Oxygen OS and the Yutopia comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Cyanogen 12.1 OS. So it all depends on the users choice and we must say both fare well against each other.

The YU Yutopia is powered by a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 which is supported by Snapdragon 810 SoC, it is said to charge the device from 0-60% in just 30 minutes and talk time of 8 hours. The OnePlus 2 on the other hand has a bigger 3300mAh battery which does not have Quick Charge and the charging time for 0-100% has been recorded to be around 3 hours which is quite decent without the fast charge. Both the devices give almost similar battery life.
Conclusion:
The YU Yutopia is better in almost all segments with better specification, having a 5.2-inch 2K resolution display in comparison to the 5.5-inch FullHD display in the OnePlus 2. The processor and RAM are similar in both with the OnePlus 2 having a variant with 3GB RAM. In the camera segment the OnePlus 2 has some additional features like the OIS and laser Autofocus but the 21MP rear camera and the 8MP front camera give it an edge over the OnePlus 2. The additional feature of Quick Charge 2.0 is also an added advantage to the YU Yutopia. The location of the fingerprint sensor is better in the Yutopia which helps in unlocking the phone single-handedly whereas in the OnePlus 2 it is quite difficult because of the location and the bigger size as well.
With better display, better camera, Quick Charge 2.0 and a metal body the YU Yutopia wins in all segments unless you are not satisfied with the 5.2-inch display and want a bigger display.
