The OnePlus 6 made its debut a couple of weeks ago, both globally and in India. Yesterday, OnePlus’s sister company Vivo, has announced the launch of their flagship smartphone, the Vivo X21, in India. Earlier, Vivo was offering its Vivo V9 as its flagship smartphone, but with the launch of the X21, it changes. The OnePlus 6 on the other hand, is the successor to the popular OnePlus 5T, which was launched last year. The X21 is priced around 36k while the OnePlus 6 starts at 35k and goes all the way up to 45K, for the top variant. Let us see how do the two phones stack up against one-another in a quick spec comparison.
Vivo X21 vs OnePlus 6
Design and Display
In terms of design and build, both the phones feature a glass sandwich design with a gentle curve for better grip. The Vivo X21 comes with a colored glass back and the OnePlus 6 too comes with a color coated glass back.
Vivo X21 comes in glossy colored backs, but the OnePlus 6 comes with 3 different textured glass backs, giving each design a different look and feel. The Vivo comes with a clean and neat design, thanks to the under display fingerprint scanner. The OnePlus 6 still comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner which still is functional and liked by many.
As for the displays, both the phones come with a similarly sized 6.28 inch AMOLED display. The Vivo X21 uses a Super AMOLED panel, whereas the OnePlus 6 calls it’s panel, Optic AMOLED. Both the phones have a notch on the front, which houses the sensors and selfie cameras, but the Vivo X21 has an extra IR fill light that is used for face unlock in low lighting conditions.

The Vivo X21 packs a powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU, whereas the OnePlus 6 comes with a beefy Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU. For the RAM, the Vivo X21 comes with only 6 GB of RAM, while the OnePlus 6 comes in both 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM variants.
It’s a similar story with the storage as well. The X21 is only available in a 128 GB storage variant, but the OnePlus 6 comes in 64 GB, 128 GB and a limited edition 256 GB storage variant as well.

Although both the phones run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, both the devices have an entirely different user interface. I would go with OnePlus6 #GTMobiistarGiveaway #GizmoArmy
#OnePlus6 are better with more powerful SoC with good price tag while on other hand #VivoX21 looks heavily priced compare to SoC but In Display Fingerprint Scanner is impressive.
