OPPO has just launched the OPPO F1s smartphone in India, and this comes as an intermediate between the two Selfie Expert phones from OPPO that are already selling and doing well in the market. The OPPO F1 Plus and the OPPO F1 have already been launched, and the F1s brings in some elements from both the devices.
Let us compare the three smartphones in the same series and see which one fares better in terms of specs. Of course, the F1 Plus does better when the overall specs are seen but then, let’s see what OPPO has compromised with, to get the pricing right for the new phone.
Similarities between OPPO F1s, F1 Plus, and F1
- One of the big necessities and norms these days, connectivity for sure has to be well available, thus we see 4G LTE support on all the three phones.

The phones, though in the same series, have a lot of differences, and it is because the OPPO F1s has taken cues from both, the F1, and the F1 Plus.

- The resolution on the OPPO F1 and F1s is the same, i.e. 1280 x 720 pixels, while it is a 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution on the F1 Plus.
- The chipset powering all the three phones are different – The OPPO F1 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, the F1 Plus runs on MediaTek Helio P10 processor while the OPPO F1s runs on MediaTek MT6750 processor.
- While the OPPO F1 and F1s have 3GB of RAM, the F1 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM.
- The OPPO F1 has 16GB internal storage, the F1s has 32GB internal storage, while the F1 Plus comes with 64GB of storage.
- The front camera on the OPPO F1 is an 8-megapixel sensor when compared to the 16-megapixel sensor provided on the other two phones, the F1s and F1 Plus, which is the major upgrade from the OPPO F1 phone.
- The OPPO F1 Plus and F1s have a fingerprint scanner on the front while there is no fingerprint scanner on the F1.
- The battery capacity also differs in all the three phones. The OPPO F1 has a 2500 mAh battery, the F1 Plus comes with a 2850 mAh battery while the F1s has a 3075 mAh battery.
Of course, there are some important differences and one of them is the size of the phones, but that is what makes it easier to choose between the phones.
The best one among them seems to be the OPPO F1s if we are to consider about the battery life as well, alongside the other specifications and also keeping in mind the pricing of the phones. It is good to see that OPPO is offering all of these in different categories so that one can choose a phone without a lot of confusion.
Of course, there are several competitors to these phones but you might see some good OPPO fans who would love to choose only one of these, and thus, this comparison should be helpful for them.
