Sony India on Monday unveiled their latest A-mount camera, the A68 (ILCA-68) which comes with 4D focus to help armature photographers to get fast and accurate autofocus with the help of 79 AF points. The A68 comes with a 24MP APS-C Exmor CMOS image sensor with wide ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range.
The company said, thanks to the sensor and the Autofocus performance you can capture great photos under any shooting conditions ranging from lighting as low as exposure value (EV) 2. Sony A68 comes with Translucent Mirror Technology which delivers constant AF tracking at up to 8 frames per second (fps) continuous shooting. It comes with PDAF or Phase Detection Auto Focus.
The Sony A68 camera is capable of capturing high- quality images with the help of BIONZ X image processing engine. The device comes with Precise OLED Tru-Finder, tiltable LCD monitor along with a top display panel and custom controls to give the user maximum control over the Camera to get the best out of it. You can record Full HD video with high bitrate 50Mbps in XAVC S format.
For low-light conditions, the camera comes equipped with 79 autofocus detection points including 15 cross points, plus a dedicated F2.8 AF sensor point are included to give the best shots. It comes with an 18-135mm Zoom Lens Kit to give you Wide Focal length coverage. It comes with options like Creative style (Portrait / Vivid) for special Wedding and this function enables you shooting Wedding with attractive colour even in JPEG mode and no need to switch to RAW. The Sony A6SteadyShot INSIDE option is compatible with all 34 A-mount lenses available in the market.
The Sony A68 model ILCA-68/BQ IN5 (Body only) is priced at Rs.55,990 while the Sony A68 ILCA-68K/BQ IN5 (with SAL1855) model is priced at Rs.59,990. The high-end Sony A68 ILCA-68M/BQ IN5 (SAL18135) model can be purchased for Rs.85,990.
