Sony has launched their latest camera, the RX10 III (DSC-RX10M3) which comes with extended 25x super-telephoto zoom lens with a 20.1MP 1.0-type stacked sensor, bright zoom lens and BIONZ X processor to give fast processing. It comes with 24-600mm focal range and silent shutter capability the camera will be pretty handy for photographers who are inclined towards sports and animal photography which include shooting subjects moving fast and at a distance. The Autofocus is pretty accurate and focuses in just 0.09 seconds.
The use of ultra-telephoto lens along with the CMOS image sensor lets you capture video up to 4K resolution and also supports super-slow-motion video capture at up to 1000 fps, it can capture in ultra telephoto range as well. The RX10 III sports a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T lens which is newly developed and has 25x magnification with a focal range of 24-600mm. The image quality is pretty good thanks to the large-aperture lens from F2.4-4.0 and maximizes the ability of the 1.0-type large sensor.
The aperture has nine blades that are designed to create a near-perfect circle in the F2.4 to F11 aperture range which enables soft, beautiful bokeh. For additional stabilisation and to prevent shakes, the RX10 III comes with 4.5 stops image stabilisation under low light and even eliminates the handshake. The camera uses Fast Intelligent AF system with spatial object detection algorithm fully optimised to predict the point of focus and detecting the subject even before the shutter button is pressed halfway.
The Sony RX10 III is available in Sony Center and Alpha Flagship stores across India priced at Rs. 1,14,990 from April 29th 2016.
