At the Auto Expo 2016 that happened at the beginning of the year, we had seen the top car brands showcasing not just their year plans but also some concepts that could go on to become a reality in the years ahead. One of them is Hyundai Carlino, which is said to be the competitor against Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport, the sub-4m SUVs.
Hyundai, the second biggest auto maker in India, had made the concept of Carlino at Namyang design center in Korea. The concept was showcased with orange shade, and it has squarish taillights, large rugged wheels, suicide doors, front and rear skid plates, roof carriers, side air intakes, and futuristic headlights with LED daytime running lights.
It is said that even though nothing was showcased when it comes to interior of the car, there are going to be some good inclusions and that should be able to match the likes of EcoSport, Mahindra TUV 300, and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
Hyundai didn’t even mention about the engine options or the internals, but Hyundai Motor India Ltd. is expected to talk about it more towards the end of 2016, but we do get to see a perfect competitor in the segment that is being well picked up in India recently.
