Prisma for Android was available only through an invite beta yesterday, and once the APK of the beta version was leaked, thousands and probably lakhs of users already installed it and started placing artworks to their pictures and share them on the social media.
Again, a scenario where the developer might not have expected this big response and thus, now, the app isn’t allowing the users to place artworks. Click a picture and place any artwork, it will give you the same response – “Thank you for trying the beta. Please, wait for the official release”.
It is clear that the developers of the app didn’t want everyone to start using the app already, and because the app uses data from the server to process the images, they could control that by putting out a message on every artwork and not letting users take advantage of the app already.
A sudden, bad surprise for the Android users. Now, the question is, when will Prisma get officially launched for Android? If we are to believe the words from the developer, it was said that the app will be released towards the end of this month. Having said that, if we look at the timing of the Beta app release, it seems all on a perfect timeline.
So, whatever conversations you did for your picture, hope you had them saved because it will again be a wait for a few days before the official app gets launched on Google Play Store. The iOS app users can enjoy using the app as they have been, on their iPhone, iPad or the iPod Touch.
