Apple Watch is elegant, beautiful and as much useful too. And just like how well Apple works on the hardware, it does with the software as well. That’s the reason why the Apple Watch face looks so good. If you’ve seen it, you probably might already be liking it. Now, you can have it set as a screen saver on your Mac as well.
Even though this is not an official one, you won’t anyway expect Apple to offer a screen saver of its watch face, the independent designer Rasmus Nielsen has done a wonderful job in replicating the looks. Here’s how you can download and install the screen saver on your Mac.
Also, since this is not an official screen saver from Apple, you should be aware of the risks it could carry along and we don’t hold responsible if any other changes occur, though the designer in this case is quite known and trustworthy.

The screen saver can be downloaded from the following link: Click here.
Install Apple Watch face screen saver on your Mac
Unzip it and since the app is downloaded from a third party site, you will have to right click on the icon and then click on “Open”. There will be a security process shown up at first, which you will have to agree and then the installation will happen.
Once installed, either you will be automatically taken or you will have to manually go to System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver if you are not taken to this setting page. Here, select the newly installed Apple Watch screen saver from the list and you are all done. Since Apple also allows you to have a password along with the screen saver, i.e. to go back to the desktop, you can set that as well from the same section.
Any issues with the screen saver? Some users having an older version of Mac OS X are reporting of issues of performance and that is well expected. You will easily find the workarounds for the same though.
