Twitter is one of the most commonly used Social media, and a people prefer to use it on their mobile phones as much as they do on their computers. Now, getting a hold of the best Twitter app to enhance your experience is something that you should focus on. There are numerous Twitter apps out there, but which are the best ones? Here, I have compiled a list of such apps that you can use to enhance your Twitter experience. Some of the apps on this list are free to use while some are paid and need to be purchased before you can use them.
Fenix for Twitter (Paid)
Fenix for Twitter is one of the most common used third-party Twitter client as it offers certain features that no other app on the list, including the Official Twitter App offers. First of all, it does not show any advertisements like the Twitter app and has options for you to customize the app (colours and layout) just the way you would like it. This is the app I use personally to connect to Twitter on my Android smartphone.
Talon for Twitter (Paid)
Talon for Twitter is another paid alternative to the Official Twitter App and offers pretty good features, similar to Fenix for Twitter. I used to use Talon for Twitter earlier, but then I switched to Fenix for Twitter because of Material Design. Today, you can find a good material design on both these paid apps, and they offer pretty much the same functionality.
Official Twitter App (Free)
The official Twitter app is something that you can never go wrong with. If you want to use all the latest features rolled out by Twitter, like the Polling feature, you will have to use the official app itself as these are not available on other apps, even the paid ones that I’ve mentioned above. The only reason I don’t use this app is because of advertisements. I don’t like to see advertisements when I’m browsing Twitter and hence, I went with a paid alternative.
TweetCaster for Twitter (Free)
TweetCaster for Twitter is an amazing free app, a good alternative to the official Twitter app as it supports multiple accounts on your Android device. It also has a Facebook integration so you can post to Facebook at the same time as well if you’re into that kind of a thing. Another good thing that I like about this free app is that you can add cool filters and effects to your pictures as you upload them, just like you do on Instagram.
Plume for Twitter (Free)
The Plume for Twitter app is also a good free alternative to the official Twitter app. It also supports multiple Twitter accounts at the same time so you can manage your personal and professional accounts at the same time. The layout of this app is also very interesting, and I like it personally. If you decide to use this app and you end up liking it, then make sure to go ahead and purchase the premium version of the app so that you support the developer.
Well. that’s it for this article. Do let me know in the comments section below which Twitter app you finally chose and what made you choose it. I personally use Fenix for Twitter, and will keep on using it in the distant future, unless a really interesting new app surfaces. I’ll keep you updated here on GizmoTimes.
