Adobe which is famous for its Photoshop tool among many other services is going to give you some of the features seen in Photoshop for free. At the Max 2015 event held on Monday last week, the company unveiled many services like Capture CC app and Illustrator Draw App on Google play along with the Photoshop Fix app.
Photoshop fix App has been released for iOS and the Android version will be released shortly, this app will bring the basic features like Healing brush and Liquify features to your smartphone. This app will be giving the users the basic level of Photoshop which like retouching and restoring photos along with many other simple features which are used by non-professional users in the desktop version.
The Photoshop fix app was announced by Apple in its launch event on September 9th where the Liquify tool was used to make photos of a woman smile. We all know that Photoshop is being used mostly in the pirated form and the company seems to be taking a steps to get users the basic functionality of the software to their phone itself. For the desktop version a Photoshop and Lightroom bundle is being provided for as little as $9.99, this will get all the users who are not interested in the in-depth features but the superficial ones to pay up.
To get the casual user satisfied, the app is provided with features like cropping, painting, adjusting exposure, contrast and saturation. One tool lets you wrap objects and faces along with remove objects and blemishes. You can even lighten or darken specific areas. One most interesting feature which I found useful was the automatic identification of parts of the face by the app and providing you with various adjustments. Like the one Apple showcased by making the smile wider, adjust a person’s eyes, cheeks, nose, lips, chin etc. This feature was available in Photoshop from a long time and being used by many in the desktop version, but getting it on your phone for free is a great call by Adobe.
The Photoshop Fix App is available for iPhone and iPad for free, all you have to do is enter your adobe account details or create a new one. You might find a few bugs as it is the first version but it is worth a try. the Android version of Photoshop fix is said to be coming shortly.
