Micromax’s subsidiary YU Televentures has launched its JYUICE power banks in India via Snapdeal. The JYUICE power banks will be available in two variants and will go up on sale in Snapdeal similar to Yunique which was also launched exclusively on Snapdeal.
These power banks come with Aluminium alloy body which helps in preventing corrosion and rusting as well. the sides of the devices are rounded which will be helpful in providing better grip. The 5000mAh battery is 7.9mm in thickness and the 10000mAh power bank is 12.5mm thick making them one of the sleekest power banks in the market.
YU promises a charging conversion rate of 92% for both the power banks. Unlike the LED indicators on the other power banks, the YU JYUICE comes with a multi-colored indicator which shows different colors depending on the battery percentage left. Green is shown when the battery power is more than 70%, it shows Yellow color when the charge level is between 70% and 30%, when the battery power falls below 30% the indicator turn into Red color.
The YU JYUICE power banks come with Li-Polymer battery technology, the 5000mAh power bank should be charged for three hours to get full charge, the 10000mAh power bank on the other hand, needs Six hours of charging time to get to full power. The 5000 mAh power bank comes with one output 5V2.1A port and one Input 5V1A port. The 10000mAh power bank comes with two USB output ports, one with 5V-1A and another 5V-2.4A along with one input port of 5V2A.
Both the power banks are available on Snapdeal and are priced at Rs. 699 for the 5000mAh capacity model and Rs. 1,099 for the 10,000mAh capacity model. You can get additional 5% discount for using HDFC Debit card. The YU power banks will be competing with Xiaomi Mi power banks and many other like Asus power banks which are priced affordably for similar capacity power banks.
