Motorola has just announced the new Moto E phone with two variants – 4G LTE and 3G, and both of these differ with the processor that helps run the smartphone. The 3G variant of Moto E 2015 has the same Snapdragon 200 processor that was seen running in the previous Moto E, but the more important one, i.e. the 4G LTE model of Moto E 2nd gen has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
Under the 4.5-inch qHD resolution display, there is a Snapdragon 410 for 4G variant and Snapdragon 200 for 3G variant, and both of them have the same 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, along with MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage.
The battery has a capacity of 2390 mAh, and the Moto E 2015 doesn’t change the camera combination – it still has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. The body isn’t waterproof but is enough to resist water spills, and the phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS apart from the data network connectivity based on the device.
The Lenovo A6000 smartphone also has the Snapdragon 410 processor, and although this is one of the best in that price range, Motorola can be a tough competitor because of its battery as well as the near-stock experience on Android 5.0 Lollipop that runs out of the box, which is surely something users might prefer over the others.
