OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus X smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 5-inch HD display, along with a new design statement, especially with the glass front and back, instead of Sandstone black or White Silk build in the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2.

What are the variants of OnePlus X?
There are two variants of the OnePlus X. The first one is Onyx, priced at Rs. 16999, and the Ceramic one is priced at Rs. 22999. Both these variants carry the same specs, but the difference is with their build quality and material used.
How can I buy a OnePlus X?
The phone will be available via. invite system, as is the case with the previous OnePlus devices, and the sale date is November 24th, that is, if you have an invite to purchase it. The Ceramic variant will be available from 24th, while the Onyx is going to be available right from 5th November.
Is there a screen protection provided for the OnePlus X?
The OnePlus X has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for keeping it resistant against scratches.

What does the camera feature?
On the back, the OnePlus X has a 13-megapixel ISOCELL camera with an F/2.2 aperture, and on the front is a 8-megapixel Omnivision OV8858 camera with F/2.4 aperture. The video recording possible with the rear camera is 1080p video recording.
Can the camera on OnePlus X record slow motion videos?
The camera is capable of recording slow motion videos, and it is possible at 120 frames per second, and the output being of 720p resolution.
Is it a Dual SIM phone?
This is an optional Dual SIM device, where one is a Nano SIM card slot while the other is a Nano SIM slot, which can be used as a MicroSD card slot if needed, and in that case, the phone becomes a Single SIM unit.
What is the OS running in the phone?
It is the OxygenOS, custom interface from OnePlus layered over Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS version. We are sure this will be getting the Marshmallow version based update later, but for now, it is the OxygenOS based on Lollipop.
What are the storage options in OnePlus X?
The OnePlus X comes with a 16GB internal storage, and there is a MicroSD card slot as given above, and although that will compensate for a SIM card, it is okay if someone wants a higher storage in their phone. The expansion is possible up to 128GB with the MicroSD card.

Yes, the OnePlus X supports fast charging, and the company says that it is possible with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

There is a support for USB OTG connectivity on the OnePlus X smartphone. We are not sure of how much is the maximum storage drive supported, but there certainly is a support for OTG connectivity.
