Lenovo has launched a new tablet under the Yoga series with the Yoga Tab 3 alongside the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 which was launched yesterday. The Yoga tab 3 was first seen in IFA trade show last month and it comes in the mid-range category whereas the Tab 2 A7-20 was a budget tablet device.
The Lenovo Yoga tab 3 comes with 4G LTE support and features a 8-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It has 10-point multitouch and equipped with AnyPen technology which lets you use any item to act as a stylus. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI over it.
The Lenovo Yoga tab 3 sports a 8MP rotatable camera with auto focus which is placed on the bottom of the device and is rotatable up to 180 degrees. It comes with four modes namely Hold, Stand, Hang and Tilt thanks to the stand at the bottom of the device which also houses the Dolby Atmos sound speakers along with the camera module. The device measures 210mm x 146mm x 3.0 to 7.0mm and weighs 472 grams. It comes with the following connectivity features 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The Yoga Tab 3 is powered by a 6200mAh battery which is said to last for up to 20 hours of regular usage. The device comes in Slate color and will be available from late October, it is priced at Rs. 16,999. Lenovo launched a tablet with a projector built in called the Lenovo Pad 3 Pro which had a 10-inch display.
