Motorola has just launched a 4G variant of the Moto G 2nd Generation, the Moto G 2nd Gen was launched in India last year at a price of Rs. 12,999 and the company has cut the price to Rs. 9,999 at which it retails. Motorola has gone a step further and cut the price of the Moto G 2md Gen with 4G LTE support and will be launching it for Rs. 8,999.
The new variant with 4G is similar to the 3G variant in all aspects and specifications except the added feature. Both the devices come with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 294 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.
The Moto G comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with 720p video recording and a 2MP front facing camera. It comes with Dual front facing speakers below the home buttons set up. The main differentiating feature is the inclusion of 4G LTE feature which comes with the dual SIM feature in Moto G 2nd Generation.

The Moto G 2nd Gen 4G comes runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the 3G variant which was launched with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat has also got the Lollipop 5.1.1 upgrade recently and might also be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade shortly. The device will be available in Black and white colors and is being priced at Rs. 8,999. It will be available for pre-order through Flipkart app from October 15th. The Moto G 2nd Gen 3G variant which is priced at Rs. 9,999 will also be getting the price cut during the Big billion Day sale.
