Acer has announced their latest All-in-One PC which comes with Intel’s latest chip which is said to be less power-hungry, called the Skylake chips. These chips are mainly useful for Laptops to help improve the battery life and keep them compact. Desktops are also taking this chipset and using it to their advantage, with Acer launching the slim and sleek U5-710 with the latest Core i5 or i7 sixth-generation desktop chips, the same chipset is also seen in the Asus Zen AiO S All-in-One PC which was also launched in IFA Berlin today.
The Aspire U5-710 comes with a slim chassis holding the display and the other components as well which measures just 37mm, it is supported by a metal stand. It comes with a 23.8-inch fullHD IPS monitor display with 1080p resolution, it supports 10-point touch as well. It comes with built-in Intel RealSense Camera with depth-sensing technology to help scan 3D objects and can help in controlling PC with gestures.
Kirk Skaugen, Intel senior vice president and general manager, Client Computing Group said,

The Acer Aspire U5-710 comes with Dolby Audio and Acer True Harmony, it also comes with Acer Purified Voice along with digital microphones to help capture voice as clearly as possible. It is a great All-in-one PC not in the range of the Asus Zen AiO S but is pretty much placed in a similar price range. The Acer Aspire U5-710 will be available from October in EMEA region and is priced, starting from €999. There is no update about the launch of the device in other regions.
