Days after the Galaxy J8 went on sale, Samsung India has announced a new smartphone in their On-series, the Samsung Galaxy On6, today, in India. The smartphone comes with an Exynos processor underneath the metal back. The phone has almost similar specifications as that of the Galaxy J6, launched last month.
The Galaxy On6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1480×720 pixels. A 2.5D curved glass covers the 18.5:9 Infinity display. Powering the phone is the homegrown octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset with Mali-T830 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung own Experience UI on top.
As for the cameras, the On6 comes with a 13 MP rear camera that uses a f/1.9 lens. To the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie shooter which sits behind a f/1.9 lens as well. An LED flash assists both the front and rear cameras.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 comes with a 3000 mAh battery underneath. The phone has support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that sits right underneath the camera. The phone weighs 153 gms and has a thickness of 8.2 mm.

Pricing and Availability of Samsung Galaxy On6
The Samsung Galaxy On6 comes in two colors – Black and Blue. The pricing of the phone is set at INR 14,490 and will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Samsung Shop online.
