Huawei India is officially bringing two devices from the P20 series in India, with the Huawei P20 Pro and the Huawei P20 Lite to be launched on 24th April. We got a confirmation that it is these two phones and not the P20 smartphone that will be coming to the Indian market right now.
The company had skipped the launch of P10 in India and even globally, the successor to that is not called the P11 and the nomenclature has P20 directly with three phones getting official at once. The P20 Pro is going to be the major flagship coming with a triple-camera setup on the back, while the most affordable option among the three will be the P20 Lite.
Huawei P20 Pro
The Huawei P20 Pro has the 6.1-inch display and that comes with the 19:9 aspect ratio, and the phone is powered by the Kirin 970 processor with the dedicated NPU for the artificial intelligence. The device comes with the Leica-powered triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with telephoto lens. On the front, the Huawei P20 Pro has a 24.8-megapixel selfie camera with AI beautification and 3D portrait lighting. The P20 Pro also has a 4000 mAh battery and there is a support for SuperCharge, the fast charge technology.
Huawei P20 Lite
The Huawei P20 Lite comes with the 5.84 inch IPS FHD+ LCD display and it is internally powered by the Kirin 659 chipset that also powered a couple of Honor phones earlier. The device comes with the dual-lens rear camera combination with a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel combination and for the selfies, there is a 16MP camera on the front. The P20 Lite comes with a 3000 mAh battery with a support for fast charging.
The launch event is scheduled for April 24th and we will be sharing more details from the event.
