After a few leaks earlier, we now see the Nokia 6 (2018) official in China, with some upgrades to the predecessor having the same name. While the Nokia 6 was a good phone with the 5.5-inch display, that aspect has not changed here but the company has decided to change a few things with the design as well as with the internal specs. To begin with, the fingerprint sensor is shifted to the back of the phone.
The Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and the 2.5D curved arc glass protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and internally, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 mobile platform powering the device. The phone is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat for now and it is upgradeable to Android 8.0 Oreo, with the stock Android OS. For the camera optics, the Nokia 6 (2018) is having a 16-megapixel rear camera with the F/2.0 aperture, Dual LED dual-tone flash, phase detection autofocus and on the front is an 8-megapixel camera with the same aperture size and an 84-degree wide-angle lens.
There is 4G VoLTE support and the other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C that is another change from the predecessor. Weighing 172 grams, the Nokia 6 (2018) has a metal body and it houses a 3000 mAh battery with the fast charging support.
The color options included here are Black and Silver, and for the 32GB and 64GB variants, the price set is 1499 yuan and 1699 yuan respectively.
