Lenovo India has unveiled the Lenovo K8 Plus, another smartphone in the K8 series about a month after unveiling the K8 Note. While the K8 Note did bring in a lot more competition in the market standing against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Moto G5 Plus, and Honor 6X, the Lenovo K8 Plus has a dual-lens camera combination on the back.
The K8 Plus has a curvy design with the aluminum back and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The Lenovo K8 Plus has a 5.2-inch IPS display with the Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 450 nits brightness. Also, the screen is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass and an oleophobic coating to keep the fingerprints away.

Internally, the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6757 Helio P25 chipset. It was the X23 chipset powering the K8 Note. Along with that is 3GB of RAM. The company has retained the stock Android interface based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and that is said to be bloatware-free, just like the one on Lenovo K8 Note. The company mentions that it will soon get the Android Oreo update. Also, just like how it has been recently on Lenovo and Moto phones, the Lenovo K8 Plus has a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion if the 32GB internal storage is not enough.
For the camera combination, there is a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel rear camera setup. On the front is a 8MP camera with flash, Pro mode, and it has a 84-degree wide-angle lens. The device has Dolby Atmos support for the audio output, and just like on the K8 Note, a dedicated music key is given to control the music and it is a customizable button that can be used for setting up as a shortcut for any app or control.
There is a 4000 mAh battery powering the device and the company claims that it offers 2-day battery life. The phone comes in Venom black and Fine gold options. It is priced at Rs. 10999 and it goes on sale tomorrow, i.e. on 7th September 2017 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
Still seems overpriced to me!!
Does it have LED Notification light? Coz heard that it is not available in K8 Plus as it was available in K8 Note.
