Samsung Electronics uses Harman’s Audio technologies for its phones

Samsung and Harman are considering joining forces for premium audio experience for their smartphones starting with the Galaxy S8 flagship. Harman’s Consumer Audio Business Senior Vice President, Dave Rogers mentioned the effect of Samsung Electronics through cooperation in Smartphone audio business. It’s already a known fact that Samsung is bundling the AKG brand earphones along with the Galaxy S8 package indicating the significant growth in the future.

Samsung Electronics is planning to include Harman’s audio technologies in the Samsung Galaxy smartphones giving premium audio experience depending on the Markets. With the addition of AKG brand earphones will only take the partnership further also saying so much about Samsung’s audio system as part of its strategies. The Galaxy S8 comes with two audio drivers of 11mm and 8mm and have excellent ability to play high-bandwidth sound, the tangle free earphones of AKG aims to provide convenient wearing sensation. Keeping in mind, the audio enthusiasts, Samsung is aiming to include Harman’s audio in the Galaxy S9 which will include the company’s flagship to launch next year.

Harman is the mother company that has some well-known audio brands such as AKG, JBL, Harman Kardon, Infinity, and Mark Levinson under its pocket even after merges, Harman is maintaining independent management due to current executives. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have some features that are the first for any smartphone, such as the Bluetooth 5.0 technology that you are seeing for the first time in any smartphone.
