Vivo has launched the new Vivo Y66 with what they call the 16MP Moonlight Selfie camera. The Vivo Y66 comes with a 5.5-inch 720p IPS LCD display, a 13MP rear camera, and a 16MP selfie camera with LED flash light. It comes with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM. It is powered by the Mediatek MT6750 chipset bundled with Mali-T860 GPU. It runs on the Vivo’s custom made Funtouch OS 3.0 with Android 6.0. It has a battery of 3000 mAh.
Coming to the design, it’s totally a clone of the Vivo V5 if it’s not for the absence of the fingerprint Sensor on this device. Everything’s totally the same!

What do we get in the Box?
Inside the box, we have the Handset, bunch of normal earphones, a USB cable, a power adapter of output 1.0A at 5.0V, a SIM ejector tool, and Manual along with the Warranty Card. We also get a transparent silicon case freely inside the box.
How much of the storage is usable by the user?
Out of the 32GB provided, the total available space is about 24GB which can be used by the user.
Does it have Dual SIM support?
Yes, the 1st SIM slot can be used by a micro SIM whereas the 2nd SIM slot is a hybrid SIM slot in which you can have a nano-SIM or a MicroSD card.
Does it have VoLTE support?
Yes, it does support VoLTE which means a Jio SIM can be used flawlessly.
Does it have a Fingerprint Sensor?
Sadly, there is no Fingerprint sensor on this device. Maybe the 16MP selfie camera and its price took it away.
Does it have a secondary noise-cancellation microphone?
No, it does not have a secondary noise-cancellation microphone.
Does it support Fast Charging?
No, it does not support the Fast Charging as it has the normal adapter in the box.

It has a powerful front facing LED light which Vivo calls the Moonlight selfie. The special features also include Face Beauty, HDR, and can shoot selfie video up to 720p.

No, the battery on this device is non-removable.

Where are the Speakers located on the device?
There are two speakers on the phone; one for the calls and the other on the bottom of the phone for the media. The earpiece is just above the screen, in the center top.
Does it support 4K video recording?
No, it does not support 4K videos recording. It just supports video recording up to 1080p at 60fps.
Does it have Gorilla Glass protection?
Yes, its display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
What are the Pre-installed apps that we get?
We get the whole stock Google apps including Facebook, Whatsapp, WPS Office, UC Browser, and Amazon Shopping app. We also have Vivo’s i Music, i Theme, i Manager, Email, File Manager, vivoCloud, EasyShare, Notes, Compass, and Recorder.
Does it support Google Assistant?
No, we have tried updating the Google App and restarting the Google app. There was no sign of the Assistant anywhere.
What is the OS that is running on this device?
It runs on the Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS running on Android 6.0. (Marshmallow). We are not sure if Vivo will be sending future major OS updates like the Android Nougat update but there surely will be smaller updates to the device.
Does it have a LED notification light?
Yes, it does have a LED notification light just like the Vivo V5.
Can we use on-screen Nav bar?
Unfortunately, the Funtouch OS 3.0 doesn’t support on-screen nav bar. It may come out in the future updates.
