Year over year, we see companies launching unconventional smartphones that stand out in the regular lot with a great idea and unique style. ProTruly is one such company that came up with one such device; Darling that hits all the right features in the best possible way.
The ProTruly Darling seems to the first ever smartphone to come with a built-in 360-degree camera thus allowing you to take images in all directions at once and lets you preview them. You can even upload those 360-degree images to social media sites that support 360-degree footage.
Just as you would expect, the ProTruly comes with enormous camera module on both the front and back making it uncomfortable to fit in pockets. With 360-degree images growing popular, it only makes sense to have this feature on board.
Mashable reports that The ProTruly sports a 5.5-inches Full HD 1080p display and is powered by the MediaTek processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has a 13-megapixel shooter both on the front and on the back. A 3560mAh battery for all your battery requirements. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box and has a USB-C port. There is also a Fingerprint sensor for extra security.
The device comes in two different variants, the standard model and the high-end model. While the standard model has plastic camera build, the high-end model packs leather, a strip of gold, and four embedded diamonds. The Darling smartphone was launched back in last year and now it popped up at the MWC 2017 event.
There seems to be a confusion in the pricing, as ChinaDaily claims the standard version costs at $600 and the higher-end for close to $1,300. While Mashable reports at $500 and $800. Currently, the device is available only in China.
