Micromax, the consumer electronics brand from India has announced its expansion in the consumer durable product segment by introducing a set of Air conditioners in India. The company is launching about seven split ACs and one Window AC model.
The ACs are said to have Anti VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Filter that remove all the harmful chemicals and vapors from the air, and the Catechin air cleaning filter prevents the spread of bacteria and harmful viruses in the room.
The on/off timer can be set simultaneous for a 24 hour time, and an auto restart feature will bring back the same settings after a sudden power cut. The ACs come powered with self-diagnosis feature that detects any kind of malfunction and work accordingly. The Sleep Mode helps the AC hibernate automatically.
Wave series
The major focus of the company should be in this series and it comes with some specific features. The Wave series has Ecco Blu technology and it has a 100% copper condenser. A 3-in-1 health filter is in place and a 30 feet air flow is offered by these ACs.
Turbo Cool Mode – Instant cooling at the touch of a button, and cooling the room down to the desired temperature within an hour.
Aura series
This series will have ACs from 1.2 ton to 2-ton capacity. The ratings will be 3-star and 5-star depending on the models.
Two Way Drainage System – The drain outlet is provided on both the sides of the ACs so installation is easier on different walls.
The Turbo Cool mode that is seen on the Wave series is also present on the Aura series. A 4-way swing is specific to just this series.
Micromax is said to have about 4000 service centers across the country and the users can request for the service through a smartphone app and get a response from the service centers within 12 hours. It is called the Micromax Home Assist application. The app will be available for both, Android and iOS devices.
The Micromax ACs are being manufactured at a plant in Uttarakhand.
The Micromax ACs come with a five-year warranty and the consumers can get first three services for free. The price is set from Rs. 21000 to Rs. 35000 for the different ACs.
