Consider yourself lucky if you were able to recharge your Jio Number with the Rs. 99 recharge to enroll into the Jio Prime Membership, because a majority of the users are facing an issue while doing so and the recharge is getting failed. First thing, it has to do with the JioMoney server side and the server is failing to take you through to the payment gateway and get the payment done.

If you are trying from the MyJio app or even from the Jio.com website directly, this is what is showing up as the error to several users who want to enroll in the Jio Membership.

If you have made the payment but it took you to the failed page, you will probably already see your number getting the Prime membership activated, or the money you paid from your bank will be refunded back if there is no change to the account status.

What to do if the payment fails?

Try again, maybe? Only if you are desperate to be on this but there is really no need to hurry. March 31st is the last date to enrol and you have an entire month to try and pay for the plan that begins on April 1st, because until the end of this month, the Jio Happy New Year offer is still going on and you are bound to pay and recharge for a plan, i.e. one of the different Jio Prime plans only from April 1st.

The other workaround is by going to one of the Reliance Jio centers, most of them being located at the Reliance Digital, Digital Xpress, or the DX Mini stores where you might have got your Jio SIM cards. There’s no guarantee that you might be able to get your recharge done successfully there, but there is still a chance that the company employees might have a different access and might be able to help recharge your Jio number easily.
