If the rumor mill is to be believed, Apple is soon expected to bring the most awaited group calling feature to FaceTime video calling application. According to a report coming from Israel, Apple will make group calling a reality with iOS 11 during WWDC announcements. Ever since FaceTime was announced back in 2010, group calling was only possible between two parties.
Although there no factual proof to justify the rumor, the site which first posted about the news claims that Apple will update the message app and let you group call up to five members at a time.
The major software update and the new iOS update will be announced at WWDC 2017 event which usually takes place in early June which then goes into the hands of beta testers and then land for all users during fall around the time of the new iPhones launch.
This report regarding the group calling feature to FaceTime with iOS 11 comes from several people who are familiar with the iOS development process which is partially done in Isreal. This report has not been on radar up until today and that too coming from an unverified source makes us stay on edge before coming to any conclusions, we suggest our readers stay tuned until Apple makes any official announcement regarding the same.
Good news for iOS users.. 🙂
