Micromax has launched their latest smartphone in the spark series, the Canvas Spark 2 Plus which runs on Android Marshmallow OS. The Canvas Spark series by Micromax aims at bringing great features at affordable prices, it comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage.
Shubhajit Sen, chief marketing officer, Micromax Informatics, commenting on the launch said, “With the launch of the Canvas Spark 2 Plus, we are offering first-time users, with a smooth transition at a wallet-friendly price. The Canvas Spark 2 comes with a 5MP rear camera with Flash and a 2MP front facing camera for selfies. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box making it one of the most affordable smartphones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow ahead of the InFocus Bingo 10 which costs slightly higher. The Canvas Spark 2 comes with Indus, which supports 10 regional languages and using which users can type, chat or change the menu of their phone to the preferred language.
Using Indus, users can swipe to the right to translate or left to transliterate their messages in the language they want to communicate in, making it pretty useful to the masses. The device is powered by a 2000mAh battery and is exclusively available on Snapdeal.com in three colors of Metallic Grey, Copper Gold and Champagne Gold. The Canvas Spark 2 Plus will be available from April 22nd on open sale priced at Rs. 3,999.
