LG is all set to launch a new smartphone series in India, the K series under which two new smartphones most likely the LG K7 and K10 launched earlier this year at CES 2016. The devices are mid-rangers with regular specifications at offer and the design aspect is the one to look out for. LG has anounced the launch date of these two devices under the K or Kinetic series as April 14th held at an event in New Delhi.
There is no official announcement by the company but as the two devices under K series are the K10 and K7 we can expect them to be launched here as well. The LG K7 sports a 5-inch display whereas the LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch HD display. The LG K7 has a 5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and has 196 ppi along with 2.5D Arc Glass. It is powered by a 1.1GHz (LTE variant), 1.3GHz (3G variant) Quad-core processor which is coupled with 1GB and 1.5GB RAM along with internal storage of 8GB and 16GB based on the variants. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The LG K10 sports a 5.2-inch In-cell Touch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and has 277ppi along with 2.5D Arc glass. It is powered by a 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz Quad-Core or 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor for the 4G LTE variant and a 1.3GHz Quad-core SoC for the 3G variant. It has 2GB/1.5GB and 1GB RAM variants along with 8GB and 16GB internal storage variants.
The LG K7 comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera compared to the 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera in the LG K10 in the 4G variant and a 5MP front facing camear in the 3G variant. Both devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the LG K7 comes with 2125mAh battery and the K10 with a 2,300mAh battery. The pricing and availability details will be revealed at the event on April 14th by LG .
